Lunch with Hillary Clinton

Yesterday, some co-workers and I attended a function for the Mercy Home for Girls and Boys (a non-profit for at risk kids) and Hillary R-C was the keynote speaker.

She was incredibly articulate and spoke freely and naturally. It was a very cool experience. Plus, we were sitting in the front row, which makes everything just a bit more interesting.

What was not so cool were the throngs of anti-abortion picketers who were harassing people as they walked into the hotel. Why can't those people just mind there own business. Jeesh!

Oh yeah, and a dead body washed up on the banks of the Chicago River last week, just steps away from my office building. I was actually in the car, driving out to a client meeting and I saw the emergency response teams on the bridge. But I had no idea...

It's been a crazy week to be in the city! Aren't you excited to visit!
