One of my favorite relatives is moving to Chicago for the next two months.
Meet Nicole. Nicole is one of my most favorite people.
Nicole just found out that she will be working in Chicago for the next few months, doing show-business stuff. Nicole is from LA. Which automatically makes her cool. Nicole is also fun. And sweet. And a wonderful person. And knows lots of hollywood gossip.
I am SO excited to have someone from my family here for a while. Yes, it will be nice to have someone here to help with the wedding biznas. But it will also be amazing to be able to have a few months to actually get to know her as a person, and not just a relative. I am 100% thrilled.

Leah!!! This is the best news you could have received...Cousin Nicole. I'm so happy for each of you. You're finally going to have family in your life! Couldn't be timed any better than now. Isn't it funny how wonderful people just seem to appear when we most need/want them?
I'm going to write to the Blums to tell them how great I think it's going to be.

HA! As I read this, I was thinking that I wanted to leave a comment saying I'm so glad that Nicole has good peeps in Chicago. But then I worried that might be really lame - leaving a random comment on some stranger's blog, and all. But then I saw that Meeks took the words right out of my mouth, and now I want to reiterate: I am so glad she has someone like you out there. We will miss her greatly. Take good care of our girl. :)
